Whew! Advent Calendar....Done!!

I finished the Advent Calendar....and it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be!  I tried to figure out something that would be cutier than post-it's but as easy as post-it's and came up with this:

What do you think (activity written on the back--we'll take it off, read during calendar time, and then put the days number in place of the gift)?  No, it's not as cute as some of the other homemade ones I've seen....by far!  But it's what *I* could do.  I tried to think of what kind of graphic I would want once I thought about printing a picture to use--- and I figured a present was perfect!  I want to REALLY emphasize to our Little Man that these acts of service we are doing, are truly our GIFT to Jesus.

I'm not going through the trouble to upload this to 4shared if no one wants the gift graphics, but if you happen to want to do this and use a calendar like mine, I will be happy to upload it....let me know in the comments section.  I'm figuring that anyone doing this would already have theirs done and probably not using the same format as me...but just in case, I'm offering.

Tonight after the boys are in bed, I get to wrap our books!!  I have 10 so far.... I still need to go by our church library and then maybe the public library.

  3. Looks great! Now I realize how much work my Mom did when she made our calendars every year before computers & printers.
